Opening reimagined library

Opening reimagined library

The Amersfoort International School (AIS) recently celebrated the opening of its reimagined Library at School. Together with primary school De Kubus, with whom AIS shares the school building, the library has been redesigned into a welcoming space where students from both schools can come together to read, learn, and connect.

Due to the strong partnership with De Bibliotheek Eemland, the library offers a wide and diverse collection of both Dutch and English books. The collection is currently being expanded with books in the home languages of international families, such as Chinese, Romanian, and Portuguese.

The opening was marked by a celebratory moment attended by students and parents. By cutting the ribbon together, the library was symbolically opened. The newly improved library provides students with access to a rich range of books and will play an important role in promoting a love of reading and language development. The school continues to grow, both in student numbers and in its connection with the local community.
